For the upcoming season, the Jr. Sun Devils Elite Hockey program is gearing up to field an impressive 12 teams! We're proud to announce that our teams will be skating at two premier facilities: Mullet Arena and Mountain American Community Iceplex (MACI).

Please note that INVITE-ONLY sessions will be held for all groups except for the 8U Selects team. Keep an eye on the website for Invite-Only list!
For those looking to register for the Tier II and AZYHL tryouts, your 2nd tryout registration fee will be discounted to $50. A jersey is not included in the 2nd registration. Please send your request to dyadmin@dyha.org for a 2nd tryout registration discount coupon.
All players registering for tryouts will require a 2024-25 USA Hockey confirmation number. Please obtain a 2024-25 USA Hockey confirmation number by visiting USA Hockey Member Registration.

The Desert Yout Hockey Association proudly announces the 2023-2024 Season Tryouts. The Jr. Sun Devils Elite Hockey program is looking to field 13 teams operating at Mountain America Community Iceplex (MACI) and Mullet Arenas with 3 Tier II teams (18U, 16U, and 14U), 9 AZYHL teams, and an 8U Select team.

Thank you for all those who were able to stop in and make one last skate at Oceanside Ice Arena. We had over 350 visitors step onto the ice one final time. Thank you for the 49 years.
Credit to Adam Mims and his crew, Gary Stocker and his band for the live music, Whitney and Harpers with all the great food, volunteers helping with the setup and sales of various merchandise for the organization, and especially those who came in to say hello one last time.

The new DYHA home will be the Mullett Arena on the campus of Arizona State University. Mullett Arena and the adjoining Mountain America Community Iceplex will host DYHA practices, games, camps, and clinics for many years to come. An off-site DYHA office space and workout facility are to be announced very soon.

We are excited to announce our newest addition to the coaching staff. Please welcome Coach Kelsey Hushek as she joins Coach James Nellis with Mental Performance Coaching. They will be working to meet with teams or individuals on training to set the right mindset as we work to close out the season on a solid note. The Desert Youth Hockey Association is excited to announce the Jr Sun Devils Faceoff Festival taking place Saturday, September 24th from 10AM to 2PM.

Calling 8U Mite Players! The Jr Sun Devils Elite Hockey program is now offering a 2 day skills camp on May 14th & 15th for 8U Mite players.
This Skills Camp offers two (2) ice sessions working on fundamental skating, skills development and small area games.
