Power Edge Pro (PEP)
DYHA is excited to announce that we have signed an agreement with Power Edge Pro to be an official skill development partner of the Jr Sun Devils. Power Edge Pro is an on-ice player development system utilizing proprietary equipment and training patterns. The system focuses on Reactive Countering Training™, engaging multiple motor skills simultaneously to develop a player's small area game performance. All patterns are completed while maintaining puck control and are designed to provide 5x as many repetitions as standard drill based practices, leading to faster development of elite skills. This system is being used by some of the top NHL Teams as well as Colleges and Junior Programs across the country.
"All our Coaches are super excited about the PEP Training System. We will be utilizing the Power Edge Pro training system by incorporating it with our team practices to enhance our coaching program. Look for PEP Training starting at Oceanside this summer."

NAPHL Showcase Division
This season, we have applied for all three of our Tier II teams to compete in the NAPHL Showcase Division. The Showcase Division capitalizes on being a partner with the North American Hockey League. Some benefits of the Showcase Division are as follows:
We are really excited about the direction our program is going and are continuing to try to improve the program. We have a few other projects that we are exploring that will improve our off ice experience at the rink as well as our Video Review and Team/Parent Meeting Experience. More to come on those as we know more.
