The Bantam ’03 team traveled to San Diego over the Labor Day weekend going 5-0 to win the “Fun in the Sun” tournament. The team did it with a completely balanced attack as every player tallied at least 3 points during the weekend. The final game against the host San Diego Oilers was close as the Devils scored the only goal to begin the 2nd period which is where the score remained until the middle of the 3rd period when the team rattled off 3 goals and cruised to a 5-0 championship win. The weekend was marked by unselfish play and the team seemed to progress with each tournament game. A great start to a season that will put these boys to the test all year. Congratulations boys!!!
