Welcome to the Desert Youth Hockey Association (DYHA) the home of the Jr Sun Devils Hockey program. DHYA consists of Tier I and Elite Youth Hockey programs in centralized Tempe, Arizona. Our programs serve as the No. 1 destination source for player development of youth hockey players today. Learn more about our program by visiting the Jr Sun Devil Way (How we Train).
DYHA is continuing to adhere to the safety measures per the Oceanside Ice Arena COVID-19 Protocol. Oceanside follows all CDC and AZDHS guidelines. To learn more, visit the OIA COVID19 Protocol page or refer to the Phase 4 Protocol to go into effect August 3rd.
A recently published June article in AZ Rubber Magazine 'Back Where We Belong' highlights DYHA's history of being a Tier 1 organization, its evolution of changes, and its return as a Tier 1 organization. DYHA is continuing to build on its success and evolve its program to provide other options for youth athletes to be part of an elite hockey program as it strides to becoming the No. 1 destination for player development.
Also, be sure to register for tryouts as Tier I tryouts are scheduled to begin August 7th and Youth Elite to begin August 14th. The tryout schedule is now available at dyhahockey.org/tryouts!
